Back in March, just as the switch was thrown that plunged our world into this surrealist timeline that is 2020, I was afforded the opportunity to photograph Kru Coffee’s brand new shop in Burlington, VT. I spent two days putting together a collection of images to introduce Kru to Burlington. Now that life has begun to creep forward once again, and Kru has had a chance to put some of these images into the rotation, I can finally tear the wrapping off this photo set and showcase it on my own channels.

With a well-established coffee shop and roasting headquarters in Saratoga Springs, NY, the founders of Kru secured a spot on the corner of Church St. and Pearl St. in Burlington’s Church Street Marketplace to open their first expansion venue. The new storefront opened in February of 2020 with a simple lineup featuring coffee and espresso staples, and pastries. A full kitchen for made to order breakfast food and donuts would come soon after.
