Lake George Again

As most of you may have noticed, I spend a lot of time around the Lake George area for my images. These two come from images long on my list. This bridge sits between Warrensburg and Lake George Village on Route 9 and I am always taken by the strong lines and directional elements when I drive under it. A few times I have tried to photograph these qualities and failed, having come close only once in a snow storm. After several hours of setting up shot after shot, this one finally did the trick.

The windmill pictured below isn't so much the long elusive subject as it is simply a marker on top of a mountain around the lake that I had never climbed until that day. It's an interesting element but admittedly as much a trophy as a meaningful image.
